The Luigino represents our interpretation of the classic Italian race bicycle from cycling’s halcyon past. Originally developed in homage to Dario’s mentor, Gino Milani, the Luigino is a lugged steel frame, complete with a traditional 1” headset and double-plate crown steel fork.
The Luigino is built from Columbus PEGORICHIE tubing — a tubeset developed exclusively for Pegoretti. Campagnolo dropouts, an Italian-threaded bottom bracket shell, and a double-plate crown steel fork round out a frame that could have rolled out of an Italian workshop in 1965, except it's being made right now in Verona. The 27.2mm seatpost and 1" headset are the dimensions the frame was designed around — they keep the lines clean and the proportions right.

Configured as a pista singlespeed, there's nothing to fiddle with: one gear, no cables, no distractions. Tyre clearance runs to 28mm, which is enough. Even here, the details are Pegoretti — the frame comes with a Luigino-specific front derailleur clamp, handmade at the Bottega. Available in standard or custom geometry, with graphics, panel, or solid colour finishes.
Every frame handmade in Verona. We’ll guide you through every choice.
